Starsailor are undoubtedly a national treasure and James Walsh one of the UK’s finest vocalists who has more melodies and harmonies sitting in his musical locker than any man really should.

A rare blend of northern swagger and intricate melodies with insightful and introspective lyrics. Love Is Here celebrated its Covid delayed 20th anninversary in 2022 to full houses across the UK. Tracks such as Good Souls, Poor Misguided Fool, Lullaby, Fever and Alcoholic are proof positive of the band’s timeless songwriting. Reaching their 21st year with arguably the best material of their career the resurgent Starsailor’s forthcoming new album due in June via Townsend Music will be joined by the 20th anniversary edition offSilence Is Easy, the Phil Spector part-produced 2nd album (which boasted the sublime Four To The Floor and title track).
The album will also be accompanied by the documentary “Silence Was Easy” which recounts the making of the last album of Phil Spector’s career.
